Aloha Steph
There’s no greater asset to a client looking to make one of the largest investments in life, than a realtor who is born and raised in Hawaii. Steph is a local girl, graduate of prestigious Iolani School and alumni of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and a Master’s degree in Education.
Steph started in the education realm, learning to adapt to the different styles of her students while teaching full-time in the public school education system. Though she enjoyed working to change the future through facilitating discoveries and learning of her students, Steph was disheartened by the changes made in education field.
Steph developed an inclination for real estate with family who worked both the mortgage and real estate industries. Steph transitioned into her real estate career while still working as a teacher, and a part-time agent in a smaller Century 21 office. Her passion in getting to know new people, developing relationships that created clients for life, and helping them make the most informed decisions in their real estate strategies has come through in making real estate the most rewarding career.
Steph has earned nominations for the Aloha Aina Award from 2007-2011. She has worked with a wide range of clients in selling their homes in short sale, to clients selling their homes upward of $1M to upgrade, from local clients to those abroad looking to invest in the islands.
Steph strives to keep updated with current trends and education and has earned designations such as Council of Residential Specialists (CRS), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Short Sale Foreclosure Resource (SFR), Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS).
Aside from work, Steph enjoys spending time with her dogs Penny, her first adopted dog from the Hawaiian Humane Society) and Lucky (a purebred Tubetan Spaniel), and her husband, Wilson.
